Complete Heating and Cooling Service in the Okanagan
Air conditioning is only half of a comfortable home. Okanagan winters bring cold nights and sustained freezing temperatures that demand a reliable heating system as much as summer demands efficient cooling. Southern Comfort AC handles both sides of that equation.
If your furnace is struggling to keep up, making unusual noises, or has stopped working entirely, our team provides furnace repair and furnace installation across the Okanagan with the same emergency availability we offer for AC service. We work on both gas and electric furnaces from all major manufacturers.
For homes without existing ductwork, our ductless heating and cooling systems provide an efficient alternative that handles both summer cooling and winter heating from a single installation. Ductless systems are a practical solution for additions, older homes, and spaces where running new ducts is not feasible.
Homeowners looking for a longer-term investment in energy efficiency may also want to explore geothermal heating and air conditioning, which uses ground-source heat exchange to deliver consistent year-round comfort at lower operating costs than conventional systems.
If you have a gas fireplace that needs servicing, or you are considering adding one, we also offer gas fireplace installation and repair as part of our full heating service lineup.

Our Services
1. Professional Air Conditioning Installation Services
A new air conditioner should keep your home cool for many years, and that starts with the right system and a proper installation. Our technicians complete a load calculation based on your home's size, layout and insulation, then recommend a unit sized for Okanagan summers. An oversized or undersized system costs more to run and wears out sooner.

As a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer, we install high-efficiency central air conditioners and heat pumps that cool in summer and heat in the shoulder seasons. If your current unit is 15 years or older, a replacement can lower your monthly energy bills, and you may qualify for FortisBC heat pump rebates. We also offer payment plans to help spread out the cost.
2. Air Conditioner Repair
When your AC stops cooling, blows warm air or starts making unusual noises, our technicians can diagnose and fix the problem quickly. We repair systems from every major manufacturer, including Carrier, Lennox and Trane, and we are available for emergency AC repair at any hour. Book an AC repair online or call us directly.
3. AC Maintenance and Tune-Ups
Annual maintenance keeps your air conditioner running efficiently and helps catch small problems before they turn into breakdowns. Some manufacturer warranties also require yearly professional service. See what an AC tune-up includes, then book yours before the summer heat arrives.
